Understanding the Flow wallet charges

Flow takes a different approach to billing. Rather than forcing you into preset usage tiers like most platforms, Flow operates on a true pay-as-you-go model. This means no wasted budget on features you don't need, and no surprise charges for exceeding a plan limit. Every action costs only what it actually costs, sometimes just a fraction of a pence.
Your Flow Wallet
Your Flow wallet operates on a simple top up system. Once you have uploaded your card details to your account the wallet will top up your account in £10 increments and then use the funds from that £10 linked to your account as you send emails/SMS or anything else that incurs a charge.
We do this to avoid thousands of charges for a fraction of a pence being charged to your card when you send many emails in one go!
Once your account hits £0 and you send another email, your wallet will automatically top up another £10 from the card you have on file.
To change your card on file simply go to settings - billing.
Email Charges
Send emails with confidence
Sending your marketing emails through Flow incurs a small cost of approx ~0.05p per email (if you send 2,000 emails each month it will cost you around £1/month). These charges will be automatically deducted from your account wallet.
SMS & Phone Charges
Set up your business Phone number to send SMS Messages to your clients
SMS text messages can be an extremely useful way to keep in touch with your clients. These messages are especially effective for things like appointment reminders and review requests.
SMS packages are run through LC Connector and Twilio and matches their standard pricing found here https://www.twilio.com/en-us/sms/pricing/gb . Average charges at time of writing are less than £1/month for a phone number and less than 5p per SMS message sent.
How do I set up a business phone number?
Go to Settings → Phone System and click Add Number → Add Phone Number.
You can filter your choice of phone number by country. Then you can choose a local, toll free or a mobile number. If you want your account to be able to send SMS messages through your account you must choose a mobile number.
All charges for the phone number you choose are clearly stated.

AI Charges
Using AI chatbots on your account
Flow allows you to create your own AI Chatbots to add to your website. These connect directly to OpenAI and charges for their tokens are based on their own pricing model. You can select which model you choose when setting up your chatbot and by clicking the information button next to the tokens usage estimate you can see the estimated charges per message.
At the time of writing, using the model OpenAI GPT 4.1 would incur an estimated charge of $0.00218/msg (approx. £0.0016).
